Need help with Predator Morlock board.

Well today I finally got down to testing the solenoid on my project mag, when suddenly I find that I could not shoot it without having the eyes installed. This board has predator 10.0 and their manual assumes that I'm gonna use eyes. The board lets me set up the modes, but when I power on and off without holding the trigger I only get the blue board light to turn on and there is no response when I pull the trigger.

Since the board is okay I figured it had something to do with the eyes; so I connected the two eye wires together and walla! Eye failure lights flash. So is there a way to dissable the eyes on Predator 10.0 or do I have to install the eyes?

Are you installing this into an Emag? If so you may have the HES miss wired. Here is a post I wrote awhile ago. http://automags.org/forums/showthread.php?t=193084

In the eye mode don't use "break beam mode". If you do a ball has to break the eyes beam in order to fire a shot. In regular eye mode you don't have to use eyes because as long as the eyes don't see each other the marker will assume a ball is in place and fire as fast as you pull the trigger. You can also disable the eyes by holding down the trigger for 3 seconds which will default you to a determined bps with the eyes off.....

Yes it is an emag project, but I am not using an HES. I am using a micro switch.
I didn't know that switching to the eye mode that is not break beam would be the same as dissabling them. I guess they did think of everything. I did read that you could dissable them by holding down on the trigger, but it would not let me fire in the first place. Well I will give it a shot shortly.

Since Xmod came out I forgot about the predator board install on an emag. However since I want to put a smaller frame; the Emag board size will just not do. So did you have overall success without using eyes? Do you still remember your dwell and debounce settings?

The Alien Mag has a Predator 10.0 board installed with no eyes. Just don't connect them if you are ok with using it without eyes and you should be good.

Since your using a micro switch check your trigger wires and their locations/inverted on the plug it may be wrong. For Dwell I use 14 and Debounce 2. My global bps is 15 and eyes off is 18 bps "for those fools that also go above 15bps". Remember the limitation of the solonoid is @ 20bps....

I use a mini morlock in my Xmag, Euromag and KartaE. I use the Xmod 1.8 in my Etac and MicroE.....

Thanks for the Help Pootang,MPSD. I finally figured how to program my board to use eyes or not.
Anyway, after setting it up and getting ready to test the solenoids polarity, my solenoid would not respond. After scratching my head for 20 minutes I narrowed the problem down to a bad solenoid.
I removed the solenoid and connected it directly to an emag battery. No Response.
My solenoid is officially dead
