So I got bored last night

To futher the pursuit of a water resistant emag.

Liquid eletrical tape + time. I also sealed the bottum of the noid where the wires lead in. an no I wont put any water near it to test.

wish I coulda just dipped it but the screen port, and the other board ports, the negative connection, the top mosfet heatsink, and the 2 side buttons woulda hated that.

enjoy. Now to seal the battery comparment..

think t may have been easier to just seal the grip panels and any holes? usin that liquid electrical tape perhaps. u could make an "o-ring" for each grip panel. n to test it u really just gotta take all the internals out, submerge the grip, n see if any water leaked in. Prolly some sealant at the top of the grip frame as well, but there are a lot of gaps a the top so maybe not.

yea but this was fun-er, and you would run into the issue of somehow sealing the hole for the mechanical trigger rod.

I have been using fingernail polish to seal my boards. Hard as Nails is the brand name. Works great. I did notice that you got the stuff on the buttons on the back. Dont have any problems with the buttons now do you?
WOW, sigs. Havent seen these in a while here on AO.

Nice job! I am going to do this to my E-Mag as well...(and probably my Shocker NXT, too...)

Is there a brand name for the "Liquid Electrical Tape"?
