breaking paint in the darn guppie!

Hey folks. Again today, in two guppies at seperate times of the day I pull a guppie out of my harness and wow- crap- top third or bottom third is solid liquid paint! Entire guppie gets dumped where I'm at another one is pulled out in its stead and on I go with a frustrated look on my face (with a small mob of confused newbies pouncing on my dirty pile and greedily fighting over the goo to stuff in their rentals) I am thinking about glueing some foam at the top on the lid. I have tried packing them tight, loose, half full and obviously with my track record the past 4 weekends I have not done any buttplants into a bunker. I always use Marbs, JT, or Diablo and the results have been the same. 32 deg. 140 rds if it matters.
Where does this leave me? Some of your personal histories, opinions or suggestions on the subject would be great. Thanks
    Brian

try a bounce test on the paint and tell us what it is. I think that the bounce test directions are in historic posts.

the foam on the lid thing...

seems to work for me. I originally did it because of all the noise it seemed to make when I was running around. Now, I'm old and don't run as much, so its to keep them from moving around and possibly breaking, yeah, thats it...

not too loose and not too tight. i normally have it where it is full so that when i shake it doesn't make any noise, and then take out a ball or two.

i did the same thing to a casse, i push a freind on it and landed right on the perfect case a hell fire, and then sold it for $1 so i could get a drink. i made someone happy thought:-)
