No spring at all? Were they broken?

i dont think they were broken. they just didn't have any spring at all. the owner of my local field Roy Hatch said just stick with the metal 1 that it will work fine

There's obviously something wrong and you don't seem to want to provide enough info to figure it out. They'll all have spring to them unless the are broken. How deep do the nubbins go into the barrel when you put them on?

Yep... There goes shartley draggin the wet towel around again... JK Shartley Just playin :)

              1) Are they in the right way? Triangle nubbed side should be in, trapazoidal nubbed side should be out. They should fit the groove of the barrel cutout exactly.

              2) What type of barrel do you have?

              3) Are your barrel o-rings tight?

              4) Are you saying they are (A) not springy or they are (B) too stiff?

              5) In the case of 4B file down the trapazoidal nub a bit until they become less stiff.
