Air America Raptor Question - Need Help!

I'm posting this here because Air America is closed on the weekends and I need some fast help. Also, the reg on the Raptor is very similar to that on automag. Anyways, I took my tank to my local paintball store today to get filled and after putting some air in it, a leak was noticed where the piston housing screws into the main body of the reg - air was shooting out at the seam. However, it was only coming out at one point, not all the way around the seam. It's never done this before and an unscrewing of the housing to look for problems uncovered nothing that I could see. The o-ring where this housing screws in looked fine. This is beyond my expertise so I'm asking for any help here. Thanks.

P.S. Probably should be in the Tech forum, but I figured it'd get more looks here.

Check your reg seat and the piston o-ring, and the piston for that matter.

Brplace the Reg Body oring with one from a mag parts kit.

With that inplace you should havce fixed teh leak, fill the tank again and check with soapie water for bubbles.

If its leaking oout of the spring pack/pressure adjuster then you need to replace the Reg Seat, Reg Piston Oring or Reg Piston.

and for the love of God dont use a 32* Parts kit on the you tank or gun.

You might not have it fully tightened. Some of the Raptors didn't have the milled reg. housing so you could get a cresent wrench on it and tighten it. If the reg. housing is completely round, use something like a thick piece of rubber wrapped around the reg. body and tighten it with some channel-locks. Just make sure it's tight and if it still leaks when fully tightened, replace the reg. body o-ring. Check the reg. seat too.

Yeah, my Raptor has the milled reg so there's a place to tighten it. I tightened it as hard as could at the store and it still leadked. The reg seat looks to be good. When you say reg body o-ring, do you mean the reg housing o-ring? The part that screws into the main reg body?? Just clarifying. From the manual picture I've attached, is it #6?

Yep, #6 is the one. Same o-ring as used on the AIR valve reg body.
