    Probably a silly pnuemag question...

But what exactly is an MEV-2 used for? I put together a pnuemag just fine without one but I keep seeing pics of pnuemags with this thing installed. What's it do?

What did you use as your three way?

I used one of Cyberrave's kits, so an MSV-2? if I'm thinking right.

Cyber, I don't think I see an MEV-2 in the picture you posted.

btw, the kit worked great and fired right up (after I remembered to put the rail bushing back in, anyway... )

The 3way is called an MSV-2, what you're thinking of is a QEV which is a quick exhaust valve. I don't think it makes much of a difference if you have one or not

Good call t0nnn, didnt even catch that one. yea as for a QEV, i dont think you need them but some do. Its more of a personal preference. The Pneumags that tonnn and Mongoose have shoot pretty darn fast with out them. As does mine also...

What would the QEV do if it was put on a pneumag that already functioned without it?

A QEV is a "Quick Exhaust Valve". It allows the 2 way (MSV2) to reset faster. On a mech application, it has a negligible benefit.

So a QEV would be more for someone making an electro-pnuemag?

Would the QEV affect the feel of the trigger in any way, no matter how minutely?

I never shot a pneumag with a qev, but I don't think it would affect the trigger. The biggest affect to the trigger is Cyberave68's magnet mod as of right now. It makes the pull and return very crisp, not spongey like a pneumag without it would feel
