    well here she is

as some of you know I got my tac-one in a bout a week ago, I have been going back and forth about going with a remote line setup or a on the gun rig. I have tried both and I decided that I like the on the gun rig best for my style of play. She is setup with a q-loader up front; I had to trim some of the grip to get the clamp to fit on but its on now and not going anywhere. I also picked up a dye 14' barrel as well as a drop forward, mini ASA with bleed off valve and skull and crossbones grip..Just because. Also have this setup with macroline.

Please give me your honest opinion of what you think. This is my first project and other then a small scratch I put into the body I am pretty pleased with it. If you have any areas that look like can use improvement let me know, I am a n00b when it comes to working on guns but there is only one way to learn.

    Thanks!

Don't like the drop, don't like the Q, would prefer a black ASA. Otherwise, nice gun

The Q won't feed like that. You should've used a warp right body. But if you feed the hose over the top, it should work for now.

well i dont know much about q loaders because i dont have one but couldnt you flip the q loader head around so it pumps balls out the other side and you can cut down on the hose.

I did try that, the Q seems to sag under its own weight when I flip it over. When I got the q-loader I didnt know that the feed system was going to be on that side. I have tested the gun with some reballs, the feeder seems to be working with them but im not sure how it will go with real paint.

Get from QLoader or you can easily find a used one. It allows for more mounting options and can feed from either side.

Thanks med, I ordered the CMS kit, will it also help from keeping the Q from swinging from side to side on the vert ASA? That is sorta annoying, its not a lot but enough to make me not like that rig. I was almost thinking about ditching the Q and getting a vert feed tac-one body and just go the traditional route.

You could also use the CMS to mount the Q-Loader under the barrel so it'll sit flush with a warp left body.

Empyreal Rogue is there any special trick to doing that? Do I need to cut the grip on the ASA or does the CMS take care of all my needs basically?

the CMS kit comes with a ton of different styles of brackets for mounting
with the CMS you can set it up just like youve currently got it (I run all my Qs underbarrel), but have it feed from the drivers side and that will shorten up your hose and take those gnarly bends out
heres a pic of my Qloaded mag, the feeds on the oposite side as yours but it will give you an idea

211 thanks a ton for those pics that really helps. Also does your Q loader swing from side to side on your grip or does the CMS kit take care of the swinging?

no swing, the socket tightens on the bracket holding it in whatever feed alignment you set it (left, right, straight down....etc)
then I used the short bracket that normally is used to mount like a standard socket (inline with the Qloader) bent it 90 to make a short L, then I used the foregrip mount hole to run a bolt through the bracket, and its a nice solid compact setup

With the CMS bracket you can use one of the mounting brackets between the rail and the ASA (bikegrip) like Ruler_Mark suggested earlier.
