Bringing in more products from other compaines just means better marketability for dealers who at the moment have a limited supply to choose from. Procaps has a good amount of gear but adding Archons substantial reserve to it will really make it stand out to dealers. Add Procaps great customer service to it and you won't go wrong.Comment

Not a joke. It's for real.Comment

I'm not sure I follow your logic...how does narrowing the amount of available manufacturers and/or distributors help dealers who have a limited supply to choose from?Bringing in more products from other compaines just means better marketability for dealers who at the moment have a limited supply to choose from. Consolidation at the top end into fewer and fewer entities is not going to end up being a boon for dealers. Competition breeds better products and services...not the other way around. This just continues a trend that will eventually cause the sport to stagnate (oh wait...already happened).AO's resident CenterFlag salesguy...

Really? Do they intend to close the plant all together? I have been to Strathroy and have toured that plant. It is a very nice facility...and from what I understand...one of the larger employers in the area. It would be a real shame if they are shuttering it.Originally posted by maniacmechanicit also APPEARS that those who worked in the Zap paint factory will lose thier jobs ; probley all but the high end managementAO's resident CenterFlag salesguy...

When the initial buy in for Archon is $1500 and the minimum order is $300; $0 for Procaps and $1.00 minimum per order...Originally posted by tasker89I'm not sure I follow your logic...how does narrowing the amount of available manufacturers and/or distributors help dealers who have a limited supply to choose from?

No one is forcing dealers to pick and chose what distibutor they want to buy from. You can still go through the major companies. I could go through K2 or others if I wanted but I can't afford the $1500 or $3k buy in some compaines want. If a single companie wants to give me the same prices and gear for ultimately less revenue out of my pocket, then I am all for it.
You are correct that competition breeds better prices. The compitition is still there, just one less *** clown company I have to deal with to get the gear I want into my store.Comment

You may not feel like you are being forced...but it is happening. Dealers continue to have fewer and fewer options (as far as the distribution channel goes) in paintball...and as the number of brand names collapse under fewer and fewer manufacturing umbrellas...dealers have less choice in the "dealer direct manufacturer" channel as well.Originally posted by Dark SideWhen the initial buy in for Archon is $1500 and the minimum order is $300; $0 for Procaps and $1.00 minimum per order...
