    Revenge of The Brick!

Here ya go guys, a little status update on an ongoing side project. I was able to procure this little gem for a song in hopes of making the greatest 'Box ever. I already knew I was dealing with the most horrid platform with respect to air consumption and rate of fire, but it didn't really matter, as the look on people's faces when I shoot them with it would be priceless. It is also my new "woodsball" gun.

I started with a fairly cherry gloss red 2002 Shocker Sport, and after reading up on a website had an idea to make a pretty killer Shoebox. I decided to retrofit a eblade frame and use a spare eblade board I had laying around to breath some life into this carcass. I had my local tech fit the proper plugs to the solenoids so they would plug right into the eblade board. I'm forgoing eyes as this pile is going to be way to slow to need them. I was able to get my hands on two ultralite backs and the hybrid feedneck for a steal and threw them into the mix.

Box's are notorious for having the huge max-flo mounted somewhere atrocious, sticking out like a sour thumb. This was my second area of concern. I went to the mag community to find a vertical asa adapter that just screwed in and could be mounted on to the tray, then run into the front of the gun. I had a spare sidewinder laying around and thought since you guys are such huge smart part fans, you'd love an AKA reg on an old 'Box (:dodgy: ).

Without further blabbering, here's a before pic and an updated progress pic.

And here's a progress pic, still have a bit of work to do.

I should rephrase my sentence to "I day, when i have money and completed my studies, i will own one just to satisfy my hunger "

It must be contagious, although the one I just picked up is considerably older,
I despise SP, but Ive always had a sick fascination with the old shoeboxes, so a PVI shocker fit the deal perfect
not as nice of shape as yours, but I got mine more as a project than anything

              Lookin really good!

              Couple o questions:

Did you have any trouble threading the feedneck all the way on? I got the same exact feedneck for my vert 2k shocker and it only seems to thread about half way because of the size of the unthreaded area.

Second, what ASA did you get or how did you make it so you could use a non-maxflo reg?
              It looks awesome!

              Thanks :)

                thanks for the reply guys!

the main reason i posted in the mag forum was i bought a mag vert asa from this site, which is mounted to the tray, and the sidewinder is screwed into. i didn't have any problems with the feedneck, you have to be careful, those threads are thin! you may want to try and clean them up. if it helps i can take a pic of the threads

that pvi shocker sounds really nice, way to work around the sp curse!
