Look what he did for me

Now, Only couple of things missing are the foregrip (will be a DW CF) and the ano. As for the ano, what should I do? I'm thinking of either a black with two shades of grey acid wash (sort of a urban camo) or just leave it as it is and ano the feedneck black with a red ring. What do you guys think?

Thanks Joe for another killer Mag!!!

They have a bolt between the two aluminum parts. Taking it off allows you to separate the aluminum parts from the CF tube. That's what I've been told...

Well, I would keep the Black and Red for 3 reasons.

          1) The finish on the Dallara parts and the frame are great. A red top on the DW grip and Black/Red CP barrel kit, and red/black feedcup would really top the marker off.

          2) I'm very partial to gloss reds and Gloss Blacks.

          3) The LPR is tapped into the bottom of the Chimera, but the 1/8npt threads are fully chased from the outside (removing the taper) so the LPR can be inserted from the inside. The seal is made with a quad-oring between the LPR and ASA directly instead of thread taper interferance. If you look at the pics, there is jbweld threaded into the 1/8npt threads to keep the LPR nut from backing off the oring and providing increased support to the diminished thread engagement.
In Layman's terms: it would take an act of God to nondestructivly remove that stainless LPR nut from the frame. You would have seal off all the stainless and jbweld if you wanted to reanodize. The acids would eat away at the stainless nut and ferrous compounds of the epoxy, if any. It can be done, but would be a hassle.

Whose frame was that before you got ahold of that, mpsd? Looks like it was an attempted pneu job already.

            Your third argument convinced me!

The frame was JP8900's. I didn't know about the previous attemp for pneumaggin this frame but that also shows you're definatelly the best man for the job!

Dang, pneumagger. I know there's a ton of space inside those vert frames, but you still did an awesome job fitting everything so nicely inside. It looks like it was made for it.

OK, this is awkward... I'm having dificulties speaking with Joe again. I've sent 3 or 4 PMs to him both here and on PB Nation on the last 10 days with no answer at all. I need to know if he got my DW package and also need to arrange things to be shipped to my sister.

                  Please, Joe, answer me.

                  Thanks.

                        Almost here!

Gun is 98% done. Now only thing missing is the new DW foregrip, with red parts instead of blue:

Oh, and of course, I'll change the fittings for black ones and the macroline for a red one as well. Already have these parts. So, how do you like it?

Will have it in my hands on thursday!
