Which HUGE durable rolling off road gear bag should I get?

I read a review of paintball body bags and they sound ok. I have seen a couple others that the guys I play with use. What do you all recommend? The bigger and the sturdier the better.

Anyone have an empire SE XLT. What do you think? Dimensions by chance?

    It's big

Well I have a huge hard plastic box that you find at Home Depot made by Stanley and it has a pull out metal handle and wheels on one end. It holds all 5 of my mags, each mag has a tank attached to it and I have put all of them in foam boxes of their own it also holds all 5 of my hoppers 2 masks and plenty of pods. the nice thing is the price is only $59 compared to the price of a gear bag. It also come with a tray and it can be locked up. here is a link I don't know if it will work.

Everyone on our team thought I was crazey but now another guy on the team has one. let me know what you think.

I just got a old foot locker that I throw in the tool box of my truck. The foot locker contains 3 tippmanns, 2 mags and a cocker nicely all separated with that egg crate foam.

eclipse bags have nice offroad wheels - body bags have smaller wheels, but are the best bag for the price I think

I have had my Bodybag for 5 years, and the corners are just starting to show a little wear

I have the older grey empire XLT bag. It was slightly used when I got it but I love it... It holds everything and I do not have to move something to get to something. The only complaint I have is the thin Plywood in the bottom of the bag was cracked and the bag could not support itself in a vertical position. I fixed the flex by placing a 1/8"x12"x24" aluminum plate with a 90 deg bend in the bottom and replaced the factory rivets with pan head hex bolts.

It's really nice to just grab one bag and go when it's time to go to the field. I always try to use the same pocket for the same item every time. It reduces the, "I know I have that someplace..." comments.

I tried alot of the "DIY" boxes and bags to carry my gear and if I was to give advise I would say, "Stop trying to make something into a paintaball gear hauler and buy a REAL paintball gear hauler". It's amazing how organized you can get when you have an item that is made for a specific task.

Yeah, I got a Body bag at the beginning of the year and it's solid as a rock! Almost too big, it's freaking huge!

I have seen of those Eclipse bags and thought they looked like a good alternative too.

I have one of these. It's not only huge but also great! Only bad thing is that the handle where you grab it to roll the bag broke on the second day of use. Other than that, I love the bag. Have been using it for the past two years and it keeps up. I use it not only for paintball but also for travelling as my main bag. When I go with it to the field I usually carry three or four markers, two tanks, six pods, a NXe harness, my maintenance tool box, a full case of paint, two hoppers, two masks, two jerseys, my knee-pads and my slider shorts. All that inside the bag. So now you know for sure: it's really huge.

I use an older Empire XLT.

                      Holds everything.

                      2 mags, 2 tippmanns, and a cocker.
                      3 hoppers, 3 68ci bottles, 6 pods, harness, and 2 masks.
                      Toolkit, shoes, and clothes.

Only problem is that when you get all that crap in there, it weighs a metric ton.
Carrying it up from the basement is an adventure into herniation.

You can always cram more crap in it someplace.

The wheels work fine on hard surfaces, but gravel and sand sort of suck.

NXe all the way. Great bag, awesome quality and excellent service should something ever go wrong with it.

I've owned PE, Empire, etc... The NXe GIant bag and now the Executive I currently use - best bags I've ever owned. I stick by NXe as one of the best companies in PB right now. Currently in my Executive:

I need to get myself some sort of bag as well but the price is a bit overwhelming.

If Im going to spend $100+ for a bag I want to know I am buying quality and not a name.

From what ive heard the body bags are tried and true. Looks like Ill have to pick one of those up and gone will be the days of juggling boxes and bags and markers when trying to hit the field.

                              case in point about NXe.

I had one of their original XL gear trunks prior to the Executive coming out. I beat the hell out of it for 3+ years and the zipper finally ripped on it. On a whim, I emailed NXe about it about possibly fixing it because I knew I had it too long for any sort of warranty. Rather than fixing it, they suggested I send it back and they would sell me one of the "new" style Executive Bags at half price. I've always had awesome luck with their Packs and the bag I had was phenomenal.. This just reaffirmed how great of a company they were..

                              NXe > all
