AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
The New ANS BLACKOUT Tanks are in stock and shipping today $164.95. All dealers who are carrying this tank will be listed in this post. Currently available at www.ansgear.com
First off, how can they claim 900 shots per fill? Based on what?
We all know that the number of shots from ANY tank is affected by a number of variable and there is no set amount.
Otherwise it appears to be a pretty good looking tank. I would be a little hesitant to buy it just due to some recent past business practices that I am not sure were on the up and up, like the fake Myth regs.....
Second question. What is the significance of having a reg output at 650PSI? Is there some advantage to this as far as the new lwer pressure markers are concerned?
I noticed that the Myth reg outputs at that and I am a little disappointed. Not that it is anyone's fault but mine for not researching a little and discovering that fact before I bought one. But what is the point really?
It is too low a pressure to work on my Mag, and just high enough that it makes screwing my tank off the Mini a pain.
Anywho, sorry for the semi threadjack.

Reading is your friend!!!!
This complete air system gets an average of 900 shots per full fill depending on the gun, the way it is setup and the output pressure of the tank. The shot average has been calculated by measuring the total number of shots attained by running an array of markers with stock manufacturer settings.
I find it interesting that they call it the "most adjustable reg on the market" yet it doesn't adjust over 850. Perhpas I am mistaken but I thought the Max-flo had the capacity to go from 200psi - over 1000psi.

I agree, I laughed at the "most adjustable air systems to ever hit the paintball market" part.....there's only 3 pressure options!!!
I've taken my Flatline to 1200+. My AA gauge goes off the meter past 1200.
With only 3 settings and a max output of 850, how they can they claim it to be the most adjustable? Aren't there other spring adjustable regulators with more versatility than this?
Actually does anyone make new adjustable tank regs, that do not require taking the reg apart?
Centerflag is gone, Nitroduck is gone, AA is gone, MacDev no longer makes the Conquest, SP no longer makes an adjustable tank. Are those Empire/Worr still made?
They might have truth in that statement of the most adjustable reg on the market, at least in the sense currently being produced regs.
