    A better Superbolt?

Maybe I am missing something here, but why could the existing all-metal bolt not be lightened by drilling holes in it? The holes would be drilled:

1.) in the base of the bolt
2.) parallel to the the axis of the bolt

I would not think that drilling in the manner described above would jeopardize the structural integrity of the bolt, particularly if the holes were small enough, and if all stress risers would be relieved by sanding and polishing.

Maybe not as light as the Superbolt, but a lot more reliable?

well the new Super bolt is awesome.....I played ALL DAY and the only breakage problem wasn't from the bolt but from the recoil be so little that my warp had a hard time sensing my gun shot so it would load completly but I got rid of that after adapting my warp to the little recoil.
