    Backyard Paintball

A few friends and I started up an un-official paintball team
    woodsball primarily
i have a camo longbow, most other rockin tippy's
    spirit and heart are included
playing today, just making wood bunkers and getting a good practice environment
anyone have suggestions as to practical practice drills/games we clan play
4 players right now playing today
    6 + are on team
what are effective, paint/air conseving tips?
    pics will be up soon
    any advice appreciated

Well 3 on 3's are the obvious choice..

But I found for scenario ball practicing those base attacks/defends is time well spent. For SPPL I was our team leader so they stuck me and 1 other guy at the base to defend it, and I manned the radio's as well as guarded our flag.

Ironically some of the best practice I had for that was attacking MY fort. You learn what hiding places are effective, you learn great ambush spots/combo's with your parter etc.. I find that other than this the roles of sn1p0r and d4gg3r are unrealistic and impractical. Ideally each person would be well rounded in all those skillsets, and to be honest, speedball is the best place to practice for woodsball! So dont lock yourselves into sn1p1ng and flanking, and stealthy moves.

So, like I was saying, 1 drill I would definitely recommend is have your defense guy(s) run attacks on your fort, say you have 4 forward, and 2 back, well have the 2 rear guys attack two of your forward guys holding down the fort - see what I'm saying? I would also pair each person up and have those 2 people practice working together throughout all your practices so you effectively have 3 teams of 2 people where each team works well together because they have been practicing the whole time.

I love woodsball, I think its the way this sport should be played, however I do identify with speedball as that is how I grew up in the sport and I love it as well. Im partially glad for that because like I said, you gain skills in speedball you get nowhere else.. but I love woodsball theory, I generalled a game once even (we lost) but it was still awesome!
