Hmmm thats interesting. The PTP venturi bolts I have seen were(at least I believe) Ti plated (goldish in color) and had a center bump in them. That could be either an early version or made by someone other than ptp.

Those were PTP. I don't recall anything good or bad about them.

I have one of the Titanium Series still in the package.
Its a gold color and has a standard spring.
I got it in a trade. I dont use level 7 bolts.

When mags were running on CO2 the 7 hole Mod was an improvement for the Mag Bolt. With the advent of N2/HPA the 7 hole Mod isn't as effective. It's a good bolt but I don't believe that you will see an improvement without running on CO2.

well no one else mentioned, it appears to be HEAVILY polished, i dobut that hurts performance. ide expect its a tad smoother but perhaps not noticeably

That's the 8 hole mod i think you're thinking of. Venturi bolts have always been a load of crap, even before the advent of HPA

Nothing really special - get it if you want something different for your 'mag or your collection, otherwise skip it. I doubt it would make any difference at all in performance.
