When are the 4500 Flatlines going to be available??? What is the hold up??? You are about to lose my $400.00 to either Smart Parts or Air America.

The latest hold up is the on/off assembly. With 50% more pressure, the on/off o-ring is collapsing on itself and causing shootdown when you gas it up after it's sat in the off position for awhile. Let it sit for awhile with it on and the o-ring expands to original shape and it flows fine. It just flows bad once you gas it up until that o-ring expands back to original shape.
Last I heard they got the parts to update the on/off and it would be a week or so after that. They should start shipping this week, unless there's another hold up. -
On/Off now working fine and yes there is ANOTHER problem. Seems the regulator seats that were supposed to be molded were machined...poorly. It wasn't until we started putting them together that we found variation in the parts. We are going through the whole batch now looking for the ones that meet spec. Should still ship this week.

What's the best price on these so far? Obviously not AGD's MSRP of $480.00! I know my local dealer will charge as close to that as possible.
That's a lot of moolah to dish out... but I want one real bad.

no doubt it's an awesome tank and i love my 3k flatline, but I think it is kinda dumb that you guys (AGD) put a pewter reg on it. If you were only gonna do one color you should have made it black which is neutral to everything. Some of us are obsessive about matching (like myself) and I won't put a pewter reg/tank on my gun.....if you guys ever want to sell a blue one email me and I'll buy it

I got mine today 3/8/02, finally i recieved my 68ci 4500psi flatline nitrotank, it is awsone and the reg is light gray. the tank itself is different and is a aci bulldog carbon fiber tank, the tank is small and sooooo light its crazy. i waz woundering why my tank did not come wit a drop foward. AGD can u tell me why i didn't recieve a drop foward with my tank...thanks

Yes, it's here! The 4500 Flatline has all the features of the 3K version but at a higher pressure! All-aluminum valve for light weight, adjustable output, tank pressure gauge, output pressure gauge and an "easy turn" on/off (the best one in the business, ask anyone). This high-performance model comes with a dovetail mount to fit most drop forwards. It looks particularly good with the Shocktech drops. Fiberglass wrapped 68 and 45 cubic inch tanks to fit every setup. Picture shows blue reg., but production models are coming in pewter.

The 3K Flatlines have a small drop included so you can get it on a marker and get playing without going and buyind a drop almost immediately.
The 4.5K Flatlines include a dovetail mount so that they can be used with the popular dovetail style drops. I think the 4.5K Flatlines are geared towards more experienced players who may already have a drop to use, but then again, its jsut an opinion.
