Sleeper EP Mag. No wires, no hoses, no reg, no problem

Well it is coming to an end. I finally finished my prototype. A EP mag with no visible wires no visible reg no visible hoses.

You will notice a few things that will be finished tomorrow or wed. I have to work on a project for my wife that "has" to be done tonight.

-the 4/40 threaded rod that needs to be cut down to size (That is what activates the micro switch) I ordered the wrong size.
-The mechanical safety is 100% working.
-The membrane pad is located on the back of the frame below the led and located under the dye stickies. It is very easy to work/activate, and almost impossible to accidentally press buttons.
-The battery is 9v 900mah rechargable
    - the carbon fiber battery foregrip will have a 1/4" alum bottom (thats what holds the battery inside the foregrip.

I rigged up a 9v square yesterday & it was firing like a champ. More Pics and vids to come later this week.

I have a chimera, logic v2, umf, and Intelliframe (and am working on a Ygrip) with internal lprs, also. I just couldnt afford spare boards & noids atm to get them all up and running (I am tring to purchase a truck later this week). Plus no one has ever put internal lprs inside triton frames.

    I give you Mann's Mag

    saved for additional pics/vids

Here are various other pics along the way. The lpr is now in the umf. Actually I have 2 umfs with internal lprs. I am doing one just pneumag. there will be no hole through the front of the frame tho. I am going to also change the asa on the Iframe to black. The membrane pad was moved to the back of the grip. I found it easier to not bend the wires this way. You will notice that there is ALOT of extra wires in there too. I didnt want to short myself when moving it to another frame and having to trim wires off the noid/board.

            Hands down.

Best mag project i've seen in a WHILE.

Been waiting to see someone use the forgrip/rail for a battery.

No hoses, no wires. clean as a whistle. Will look much better with the UMF.

Grats man. pat on the back.

Not really underrstanding what you are asking. I have purchased a 900mah battery that fits inside of the foregrip. they are cylinderical.

Really? Got a link or pics?
Given that most direct-replacement rechargeable 9v batteries are in the 250-300 mah range, it just seems far-fetched that one the size of that foregrip will produce a true 9v 900 mah.

So how many of these are you building? Are you using all those frames that you've been collecting recently? Did you manage to get an Airwalk?

                          The sleeper look is awesome!

BTW, I know you mentioned that you'll be posting more pics, but what's the approximate dimensions of the 9v battery that you're using? Is this something that could fit inside a DW foregrip?

They will not fit inside a DW foregrip. That was my first design. I have about a dozen frames that these will be installed in. I never picked up an airwalk. I know it would work in those.

The carbonfiber foregrip is real carbon fiber. I had to purchase it in bulk to get it somewhat managable on cost. The also dont sell it it short tubes. I am therefore forced to make at least 8 -12 more markers.

I will post up a dealer thread later for those who are intersted in parts/pieces/batterys/installs.

                              Particularly since it's so sleeper.

                              /was shamelessly hotlinked, so YMMV
