13 & 22ci tanks?

Seeing these up for sale I was curious.

I know that of course it would vary according to what it was being used on, but how many shots do you think you get out of one of these things?

I know it can't be too much, but say on something like a classic lvl7 mag what would it be? A hopper or two, if that much?

Just out of curiousity, where did this formula come from?

i have both and that looks right on my lb shots 120 = 6 feedsticks seems just about right
i use my lb with 5 sticks and it lasts a game on the 13 bigger game i bring 5 plus extra 10 round refills or 9 sticks and my 22 tank depending on my running style that week

with my pump mag (level 7) i got around 50 shots with a full 13 ci tank before drop off. dont think they were made for mags...

with my pump mag (level 7) i got around 50 shots with a full 13 ci tank before drop off. dont think they were made for mags...

wow thats horrid u measuring 50 in a row quick or placed shots ? lesson your macroline and if expansion chamber get rid of it i get about 17- 25 of of one powerlet in my pumpmags

Its actually kinda funny
Ive got 2 mags now, and Ive never botthered to figure out what kind of shots I get
guess Ive gotten spoiled on air all day

yea, i thought it was pretty bad. my shots were around 5-15 seconds apart; it wasnt during play, but was experimenting how much shots i would get out of the 13ci tank. with 12 grams, i get around 15-17 shots (is that what you meant by "powerlet"?)

I go about 2 full games before needing air with my 68/45. I'd imagine less than half a game on my 13/3K.

50 shots sounds right to me.

powerlet= 12 gram thats what there called by crossman ,,,um there is a few tricks you can do for gas use: shorter line microline im told helps, putting washers in the dumpchamber, a smartmag valve (helped me out), hot hands around the 12 gram, :P and bated shots that take a few mins apart ..i would suggest turning you vel down a tad bit if your using it as vsc like i was.... 250 fps.. Also i think the powertube spring(oldschool on ebay for like 3 bux) helped i did many things to mine .Now i get 17 all day from my longbow.. i dont use them anymore though maybe i will again

shots on the small tanks can vary greatly with velocity and setup, as well as how fast or slow the tank is filled etc.

ona nice slow fill you should get around 80-100 on a mag for a 13

and 40-60 on a faster hot/warm fill.

high velocities or low velocities, level X etc can scue these numbers quite a bit.

^^ does that refer to the shooting right after the tank was filled or just in general? i left my tank (fully filled) in my gearbag for a few days, then took it out to shoot it all up.

the hot fills are fast or fresh fills.

i often get mine filled 2x as if its not filled very slowly itl quickly be down to 2k psi.
