    Just an idea...

Alright... so Im watching some of the testing vids, and hear something...

Paintballs vary in size, barrels dont. Duh... rocket science huh.

    Well okay lets fix that.

    how about a soft barrel?

What do you think would be soft enoufh but hard too to not slow down a ball cause of friction?

I think the friction caused by a barrel that conforms to the shape of the ball would destroy gas efficiency. Also, it would be a challenge to keep it rigid (unless you have a shell for it, and then it might potentially be classified as a silencer? not sure) Not to mention it could not be honed and would probably actually be less accurate...

      Thinking outside the box though...

Can't wait for the dynamic duo to tackle this mystery.

anything soft enough for a paintball to push on the walls would get owned by the pressure coming out of the bolt. The gas would just go around the ball.

ATS had the unisizer for their guns that basically did the same thing from what I know. I bought a TS-1 before the unisizer came out so I have the sized ends so I can't give any input on the unisizer.

Anyone here ever own an Aradus barrel? I remember them a few years back but don't know how well they worked.
