Yeah, I've always wondered why he put so much effort into an A-5. I wonder if he's ever shot a mag?
But tippy or not, that thing is awesome. I just want to know how long the pusle is on that valve? I thought available pulse valves had too high of a dwell for paintball applications. And here's the thread, he posted in there under the name AirHog a few pages into it.The stock PV-1's are suppose to give a 100ms pulse, although at 0 volume,they will pulse at 42ms. Instead of trying to get that lower and start having to guess what it was at, i went with that number (42ms) and adjusted everything around it. The added volume chamber, lower pressure (200psi), and barrel length (all 18 inches are used) were all calculated around it.
The end result was pretty faithful to the calculations, although the CVX valve was a bit of an unknown after doing all the modifications to it, so all in all i would have to say it's definitely not perfect, but it works very well on the cheytac. Although i'm sure it could be executed better with more accurate calculations.
