for the record can we state that having a classic valve doesn't qualify you for classic division?
for some reason i don't think a classic valve is quite what TK was thinking when he suggested the division.

The rules are there for a reason. Like making your pictures the right size. For some reason beemer has been very nice and only breaks the image code.

I may consider not looking at any links when determining the finalists.

Concerning image size (and I might be alone in this, but just throwin' it out there): it doesn't make much sense to me to have code-resized images. I view this thread from time to time on dialup, and it takes just as long to load a 1024x768 (or often much larger) image that only displays as 600x400 as it does to load the actual large image and display it actual size. I realize that the point of resizing the images is to keep the page looking nice and people from having to scroll left-right constantly, but it still takes a really long time to load a page full of "resized" 2048x1536 images. Maybe the rule should be to post either a) images that are actually 600x400 or b) links. Like I said, just throwin' it out there.

dont, wont hurt my feelings, should be a vote from the entries not one person picking "their" fav's then opening up voting IMHO (too much like super delagates if you ask me. no harm met but i allways thought that was a little biased.

When RRFireblade was running the contest he was giving away prizes so it was his show!

This is the way this has always been. If you want to pick the finalist I bet smoothice would gladly let you run this whole deal. Make the thread and the rules.

My guess is you won't even need to ask nice!

I see that you have only been here a little over a year now and for me more than 3 times that. I am not aware of what, if anything you do know. I was merely stating that if you had a better way to run it that put your money where your pie hole is. If not then follow the rules that were set forth but the founders of this contest!

actually i was a lurker since late 90's and only signed up to get access to pick up an xmag a year ago.

Why don't you look at your posts. I haven't seen a useful one come from you in a long long time. Maybe you save all those good posts for pbl.

Either way. Your suggestion has been noted. I will take it into consideration. Now how about you save your bottom feeding to pm's or a different forum.
