    Favorite mechanical semi?

What is your favorite mech semi marker?

Mine has to be a cocker. Just all of the things moving together to make it work always fascinated me.
I have a lot of respect for the Tippy 98 as well, and of course like shooting mags a lot, but just something about those cockers clanking and shooting....

Cockers are just fun (when they work) that pop-click-clack just can't be beat. And cockers are fun off the field too because there is always something you can do to it/with it...great tinkering marker.

Easy, my Minimag. It's a tiny little package that puts paint exactly where I want it every time I squeeze the trigger. I rarely (if ever) find myself going "damn, I should have made that shot."

I've tried other trigger frames and the like, but there's just something that always appealed to me about the Minimag's short, crisp snap of a trigger pull, and the stock frame just points so naturally in my hand.

My Orracle. That thing is so much fun. Like an normal gun that's inside out. It's been super reliable for me. And it's green (so doesn't matter). I do miss the super crisp trigger feel of my classic valved mag. The backblock is just too mesmerizing. In big games I lend the emag and PM5 out and use the Orracle.

Although cockers are really fun to play with, I'll have to go with my tac-one because it's so much more accurate and reliable.

My favorite mech is one of my auto response mags.
I just love being asked "is that electric?"

But then I also pine for my old cocker with the slider trigger. It was a joy to shoot.

Classic mag with a crown point barrel. No movement, just "ping-ping-ping."

Ha! Reminds me of an experience with my ReTro Mini:

                      Ref: "Is that full auto?"
                      Me: "Uh, No."
Ref: "Oh, just three shot burst, huh?"
                      Me: "it's semi, purely mechanical."

                          classic mag.

I love the noise. last place I was out the kids said it sounded like a 50cal... clang.. clang.. clang..clang... SWEET.

Cockers are cool and all... but I never got past the short stroke thing.
