    whats with the stars?

    so whats with the stars.
    I got my mag in 93/95ish original 68 automag

    no stars.
    when did they start putting stars on the A.I.R. and 4 stars means no rebuilds ever, 3 means 1 rebuild, etc. ?

    how do they remove the stars?

      Stars were how many times you could send the valve to AGD for a free rebuild.
      No use now, other than prettiness.

          And if you have a 'Mag that says "68 Automag" instead of "Classic" and it has no stars, that means it has a lifetime warranty and upgrade path. A lot of us bought 'Mags new because of this. I guess I must be dead.
