My brand new flatline's tank has a date or 05-01

Does that mean I have to have it hydro'ed before 05-04? Do I loose out on the 9 months or is there something that takes into account when the tank went into service?

    Thanks

They are three years from the date of manufacture. Unfortunately they make you buy a skid of them at a time and by the end of the skid they have time on them. To avoid the problem we are buying them as we need them for the 4500 systems but you end up paying more for the fresher dates. You should have paid a lower price as the 3k flatlines are very reasonable right now.

It was a gift, but I believe it was only $100 more than the cheapest 60/3000 fiber wrapped tank. Certainly worth it.
