its simple it depends on the distance from your body or sholder your wrist sits.. Hold a your arm out easiest is a 45* bring in all the way in and the most comfortable is a 180* frame which nobody makes but agd got close... in between? 90*
favorite frame style

Wow you're the first person I've seen to actually get this correct.Originally posted by Spencerits simple it depends on the distance from your body or sholder your wrist sits.. A y-grip is closer to 180 degree than the 90 degree though. But the idea is sound. My favorite is the y-grip by far.
To answer the OP's question though, no, it will not be accepted anytime soon.Last edited by GoatBoy; 08-24-2008, 09:12 PM."Accuracy by aiming."
Definitely not on the A-Team.Comment

45 single trigger w/ dye sticky3s is about all I ever have wanted out of a grip (pump).Comment

I prefer the y-grip for close in shooting, but give me a single trigger or an intelli and i'll go all day with no complaints.Comment

Ive got a question for everyone that likes the y and z grips.....do you guys have trouble running and shooting?
Any time I move I tighten my grip, which screws up my trigger/finger alignment with every frame i've ever used except 45's. It seems like the the trigger should be angled out more instead of hanging vertically. Also when I shoot with vert/Y frames it seems like I end up pulling the trigger with the joint in my middle finger instead of the tip, which screws up my rhythm. Anyone else have this problem???Comment

So what do you guys think of these:

I havent really had enough time to draw up the frames very well, but thats a rough idea of what I'm working on. If your wondering about foregrips, I'm going to go a similar style to the E-mag with a dovetail....but that isnt completely decided yet. This is just a rough draft, I'm being forced to redraw everything in Pro E, so putting much effort into drawing it up in solidworks(all I have ATM) is pointless.
The one on the right is just a copy of rouge's vert frame(I think, it was just a good pic to get measurements from) The frame on the left is similar to the UMF, but a little taller grip wise and different contours on the back of the frame.
