Ebay pick-up, Race SM-1 kit

I had one before and loved it, kicked myself when I got rid of it. Saw this and was the only bidder on starting price of $100. Not a mark on it that I could find.

beware their customer service SUCKS. The gloss black one I recieved had 4 dust black annoed backs & 3 dust clear annoed backs. This was of course 6 weeks after I had ordered it originally. I swaped emails for a month or so untill I finally gave up on getting what I paid for. Also whoever answers their emails has the typing/speaking skills of a 1st grader. I dont expect their grammer to be perfect, but I expect it to be understandable. I know some people swear by them, but IMO there is much better.

thanks for the heads up Mann. I still want one but I'll def proceed with caution or see about getting one used so I know what I'll be getting. Anyone wanna chime in with thoughts on which version is the best? I doubt a race version will surface any time soon and Styg is next of kin lol. So I suppose the SM-1 would be my first choice.

I prefer the 1 piece barrel with the inserts like the RACE kit or the SM3 kits ( 80.00 in their eBay store with 1 .689 insert ) I had the SM-1 Kit with the hub ( several actually ) and I didn't like the 3 piece connection on it.

The reverse threading is one of my favorite things about this kit - I had even been looking for the Planet Eclipse shaft kits because of the reverse threaded barrel tips.

as far as customer service.... I'm not sure they have ANY - I think Luis (SP?) is a one man show and his grammar/language skills is a little lacking via email.

I have always gotten my stuff used but Flo's in California I guess has a decent collection of the Sanchez stuff. The Ebay store is probably going to be your best bet, as they answer emails quickly and seem to handle business a little better with Ebay's reminders. He did tell me they are still going through inventory and building the Ebay store. as far as pricing.... all BuyItNow and its equivalent to what they charged on the SM1Paintball website

I like my 3 piece SM1's just fine. But I like my 2 piece Orbium a little better.
