    What's with the old RT's?

I've been seeing more and more original RT's on eBay for sale lately. I can't understand why people would suddenly just up and get rid of them. I own one myself, and it can easily be modified for a pneumatic grip. It is slightly heavier than other guns, but I always thought of extra weight as giving me better stability when firing. Heck, you can lvl 10 them also, so I don't see why suddenly people are getting rid of them. If I had enough money, I'd buy every one I see, since nobody even really bids on them! I'd love to do some custom modifying to them since they have all those air inputs, however I'm no machinist.

So, just throwing that out there. If anyone has some nice classic RT's (besides the space mags, since they have their own thread) I'd like to see them! I'm talkin' the kind with those special skinny valves installed. I know we have a pic thread, but I have a hard time finding classic RT's.

I think it's probably more that people who played 10 years ago are cleaning out their stuff and taking the opportunity to unload an older marker. It just happens that the market seems to be getting flooded.

Alot of the sales are being pitched that way , and a lot of people that used to play are selling stuff they don't use anymore & it not limited to Paintball goods , due to the economy

i'm not complaining. i always wanted one when they first came out, but at the prices they were going for i couldn't afford one for several years... prices being the way they are now though, i have picked up 4 in the last year for not much more than what a new one cost back in the day

Hold onto your old RT. The more that are sold, the more value it'll be. Everyone will be kicking themselves in the foot when the supply of RT's is limited and it's value increased.

I originally wanted the first RT design because I thought it looked absolutely killer, but when I finally had enough money to buy my first mag, I ended up with an RT pro. No complaints of course, my RT pro rips, but I managed to pick up exactly what I was originally waning in a normal RT off eBay and now I'm happy as can be! I mean, if people really want to get rid of them, I know some people would love to get their hands on one.

Couldn't tell you why. They're still great markers...
