Hopper question

What is generally considered the top hopper? The Empire magma seems to be the most expensive, but I'm maybe looking for a step down also. How does a Halo v35 rank? Explain rip drive.

Been out of the scene for a couple of years so please educate me, don't flame me. TIA

Yeah I saw a couple of those, was looking for something explaining more about the rip drive. I just got one from actionvillage and the box was already opened so I wanted to be sure I received what I paid for and not one of the lesser models.

rip drive is just the wheel on the bottom of the loader. It lets you manually turn the shaft of the drive cone. Since the cone is spring loaded, you can give it about a turn's worth of tension and the loader will push feed a few balls when the batteries go dead. I've had to use it before and it works a few balls at a time.

It is also handy for emptying the loader out and observing when you get a serious jam on a loader when it tries to self clear. If the wheel is running back and forth and you're not getting paint, you need clear the jam by hand.
