    Lvl 10 bolt polishing

Does anyone remember who offered this? I remember it was only available for bolts that had the seam at the tip. I just realized that one of my lvl 10 bolts does have that seam. Just curious.

I did it myself with a file, sandpaper, micrometer and lots of patience.

BlackVCG was doing it so the surface was not only smooth, but still to spec (if that makes sense). Not just shiny, but the post was still round and even. It was a lot more than just shiny, there was serious thought to reducing friction and keeping everything reliable.

So, the post is removed, polished, then put back in? Does it make any noticeable difference? Less wear on the powertube O-ring or something?
