I was recently scammed on craigslist. So I have been avoiding it like the plague.

Word of warning to non local craigslist buyers. If you pay and can prove that the person took your money and did not give you what you paid for. You CAN go to the police BUT if the scum bag decides to play hardball YOU will have to go to court in order to get a judgement.

Not quite worth the hassle and expense of flying to a court date for $150

Now if I had paid $1,500 for that p.o.s I would definetly hop on a plane.
