Shots per tank with your Mag setup!

Hey all, I stopped playing for a couple years and I'm looking to get back in! Only problem is, for the last year I played I played pump and I'm looking to bring my xvalved ULE out of retirement. BUT I don't have a tank. I used to run a 68/45 and I got plenty of shots, but I've started to shoot less so I'm looking at a smaller tank.

If you'all could possibly list your tank sizes and how many shots you get that'd be great! I have a used 45/45 in mind locally!

You should go to each gun manufacturers forum or call them up. Ask the OWNER of the company why his gun is better. When you get your answers come back here and tell us what they said.

You should buy my gun because I have 5000 posts that say I care.

    In general:

3000psi tanks give 10 shots per cubic inch
4500psi tanks give 15 shots per cubic inch

I have a 68/3k, gives me roughly 550-600 with lvlx.

go for the 4545 it should give you at least your hopper and 3 140 tubes if nothing else if you need more ropunds than that i suggest a trip to the range and a case or 2 of paint i use a 13 3000 for my longbow and that and 100 rounds keeps me in the field for 3 hours at a big game

Like your name , named a buddies X Mag that
        I run E Mags with a 45/45 I'll get a hopper & 2 1/2 to 3 pods out of it
Normally I don't even carry an extra pod into the woods , scenario's are a different story

Hi, I have a 45/4500 tank for sale if you are interested. With my mag I get about 600-700 shots out of it. I also have the 70/45 tank which gets about 1200-1300 if you are interested. The 45/45 weighs a little over 2 lbs, and the 70 ci weighs about 3 lbs. LMK if you are interested, I am a little flexible on the price. Thanks

Here is a site that helps calculate how many shots you can get with a tank.

P.S. use Gas pig for an automag

It really depends on your setup. Out of a classic mag with a level 7 bolt this weekend in a scenario game I got a TON of shots on a 68/4500. In one outing I shot a hopper plus 3 140 round tubes and didn't even go under 3000 psi. It really depends on your setup a lot.

smoke63b is right, ive got a 68/45 feeding xvalve hypermag and i notice the difference when my barrel size is too big, on one tank i can go a hopper and 4 150rd pods before i go refill if i need it or not
