What are the best Mag upgrades? Cocker? :)

I thought about how different these answers are... and thought it was kinda funny:

Alright, as best as you can list the best upgrades for a Mag, and then for a Cocker. Describe/compare the end-result guns. :)

        I would go with:

        Mag Upgrade: -- Cocker Upgrade:
        Retro Valve -- Hinge Trigger
        Freak Barrel -- Freak Barrel
        Intelli Frame/Feed-- Front Pneus
        Super bolt -- Halo
        Warp w/ Halo -- Shocktech Bolt/hammer
        Kapp DZ 2 -- Kapp DZ 2
        45K flatline -- 45k Flatline
        --------------- upgraded timing rod
---------------- Personal tech on hand at all times to fix the cocker after each game.

Milling and annodizing along with back blocks on the cocker would not improve performance, in my opion. With these set-ups both guns would shoot great. As far as triggers the retro is great for mag and the hinge is best for cocker. Barrels are the same. The mag may shoot faster and have a lower profile, but the cocker would be no sloch either.

** And a Kapp Shorti Just for FOO

I'd say that too... Well, maybe everything except the dz 2. I'd get a shorter drop. I would get a new hammer/bolt kit actually, not just the new bolt.

AND... WOW! A 45k Flatline! Just kidding, I know what you meant.

there's no 'the best' Cocker upgrades, there are so many that there can be many good combinations, thats why each cocker is unique:).

            -=Mag=-
            Intelliframe
            barrel
            HPA
long drop such as KAP or Wapred Sportz
            forgrip

            -=Cocker=-
            WGP Hinge
            Boomer
            HPA
            shortdrop or no drop
            AA reg
            ANS Jackhammer LPR
            STO 4way
            STO Ram
            Shocktech bolt
            LPC (anykind)
            light main spring
            light valve spring

The set of cocker upgrades are just some of my personal picks. You put in what you want, play around, make urs different, thats the fun of a cocker :)

Everyone has already stated all the mag upgrades so i will just list the cockers. If i was to start with a stock 2k2 vertical feed cocker this is what i would get:

                Ying-Yang bolt
                body milled to fit p-block
                macdev red valve
                maddmann spring kits
                eclipse hinge
                shocktech bomb 3-way
                sonic LPR
                titanium rods

This with some milling and anno would be my dream cocker.

                  Mag:
                  1. Retro - Removes shootdown up to 26bps and allows you to shoot faster because of the trigger bounce.

                  2. Intelliframe(only grip worth mentioning) - Will help ROF if you can shoot faster with a lighter and shorter pull

                  3. Barrel - A must for all markers, I perfer CP or Dye.

                  4. Expansion chamber - IMO Nasty looking, make it look like you have a spyder. But will help alot if ur running off CO2.

                  5. Forgrip - Most people just perfer to have somthing for their other hand to hold onto...

                  Cocker:
                  1.Pneus
                  1. LPR(low pressure regulator) - Somthing as the rock, sonic lpr or Shocktech FGP will allow you to adjust your cocking pressure and perhaps make the pressure more consistant.
                  2. Ram - A well built and designed ram may allow you to cycal faster or run at a lower cocking pressure. The ANS miniram is the fastast there is. But the STO is more popular because it has the ability to be rebuilt.
                  3. 3-Way - A good 3 way will help stop leaks and shorten and/or smoothen your trigger pull. The bomb is the most popular because it's shortness. And WGP just came out with a new 3 way which works completely different than a regular 3 way, check out the cocker forum at PBC for more information.

                  2. Regulator - The regulator regulates the pressure going into the marker. I have an ANS Gen X2 regulator and It has done nothing but good things for my cocker, very consistant, and very easy to adjust. I also reccomend MacDev Gladiator regulators but if you have a preset tank you have to have it sent in to be adjusted to a lower output pressure.

                  3. Grip frame - Very important upgrade and should be one of the first things you upgrade because the stock plastic one CAN BREAK, I have seen it happen many times. Probably the best sliding trigger frame there is is an ANS Quick Fire which have a very short and smooth pull. There are also new pivot or hinge frames, on the low end there are the WGP's and the Shockteck frames, but now everyone is making a pivot frame, and most supercede the 2 i mentioned above. There are KAPP, new Shocktechs, Eclipse, Dye and ANS is coming out with one soon.

                  4. Bolts - Well along with most other markers the bolt is a very important upgrade. Some of the best bolts are the Lighting bolt, from AKA I beleive, The Superfly Bolt, from Shocktech and the Ying-Yang from MacDev(I think). Most of these may help make your marker LP and mabe create less kick.

                  5. Barrels - Same as mags...

                  6. Loaders - A very important upgrade for any marker, the most popular is the X-Board revvy, Ricochet, and the Halo, and also an option is the Warp feed.

                  What I would PERFER:
                  Mag:
                  Custom Powdercoat PF MAg
                  Cp Barrel Kit
                  Intelliframe - Chrome
                  CP Lighting Drop
                  Retro Valve
                  Kapp Forgrip
                  Revvy

                  Cocker:
Milled and Anoed Vert Feed Cocker
                  STO Ram
                  Micro Rock or Sonic LPR
                  Bomb 3 Way
                  Dye Hinge Frame- Chrome
                  CP Barrel kit
                  Superfly bolt
                  Kapp Backblock
                  Kapp Twisted Cocking Rod
                  AKA Hammer Kit
                  12v X Board revvy
                  MacDev RED valve
                  ANS Gen X2 Regulator

                  Conclusion:
Both will be light, fast shooting, consitant, accurate and nice, I personaly would perfer the cocker over the mag because it would be custom milled and such. And I like cockers.
