Does Higher psi in X-valve is really better? Interest in higher psi reg than 800?

What is the best psi for the x-valve actually?

If there is a well known compagny make their reg for mag user back again, would people buy them?

I was looking at air tank compagny website and sent them an e-mail today. What is the benefit of higher psi in the X-valve is it only higher bps?

In all of the "RT" style valves, the higher pressure makes the on/off pin more reactive. As each of the valves are a bit different the amount of pressure it takes to find that sweet spot will be a bit different as well.

My ULT X valve went absolutely NUTS at 1200PSI, but was very controlable and still fast enough to meet 15BPS requirement at around 1100. There are some users here that claim to get such reactivity at at little at 8-900PSI.

ive heard claims of higher efficiency at higher psi, however i have not heard of an optimal zone.

i usualy run mine at 900-1k to be sure recharge stays fast.

Even if you are not trying to bounce the trigger, the trigger return is faster at higher pressures. Faster returns mean less chuffing.

In the same line of question.
Any good ajustable tank reg you guys suggest?

I know I could use the search, but did not find anything on this.

          thanks

I believe the mag valve itself can withstand 1000psi + with no real problems, so I sure hope you're not talking about a secondary regulator. The only high pressure reg you'd benefit from would be a tank regulator, and I've been out of the loop for awhile, but I'm pretty sure most tank regs that are adjustable can do over 1000 psi.

            AGD Did someone call me?

You should go to each gun manufacturers forum or call them up. Ask the OWNER of the company why his gun is better. When you get your answers come back here and tell us what they said.

You should buy my gun because I have 5000 posts that say I care.

I have a Dyna Flow 5000 psi reg on my x valve and it is crazy at high pressure. It can keep up with whatever pressure you crank it up to and it has a push on off.

I'm using Raptor Rex regs. firstcallpaintball has them for $20. They're a bit heavy but they're built the same way a mag is (some of the parts are even interchangeable) and I've had no problems with recharge, even at 1200psi output.

After seeing a couple pics of the Raptor reg it leaves me a little curious. After it is installed on a tank i dont see how you then attach the tank to your marker. Is there a dovetail mount or something that im not seeing?

it's a clamping drop forward. It clamps arround the reg.

Does that mean its a drop forward piece that has to be used for the raptor reg or is it like a dovetail clamping ring like the one used with the flatline regulator?

You could always look at getting an Air America Armageddon, or Apocalypse reg. I use a geddon on my RT and it works great. I have a parts Apoc reg if your interested. Needs gauges and fittings. No idea if it works and its old school.
