Thanks for the kind replies guys!

When I first designed this the only features I was looking for were gas thru frame and as light as possible. A small on/off switch was to be on the side of the gun on the rail.
The gun ended up looking almost perfectly square and very ugly.

I took some time off and added an AK-47 wooden stock to make it more esthetically pleasing. Once I did this the ideas started pouring in and I made sure the addition was not just a weight gain. Under my design directions Kruger was able to successfully accomplish the modification of the AK wood stock. I then made sure to take as much advantage of the wood stock as possible.

The cabinet hinge was actually an accident when I found it on Home Depot when looking for something else. It was a giant relief because smaller hinges kept proving to be unreliable and weak for my standards.

I am very pleased with both the weight and balance. The gun is much shorter and lighter than my old ULE emag and it's balance is superior. It shoots smooth and its very stable. This gun has gone through alot modifications and changes that I cannot list on paper. I am happy that it has turned out well in the end. Thanks AO

please do us, and your marker a huge huge favor. take marker outside, place in lots of natural light. turn camera flash off. take pictures.

its an amazing gun, i just wish i could see it better

also, 1 suggestion. get the same cabinet hinge and put it on the otherside. just take the pin out so it doesnt become a hassle, or use the pin on the hinge as the lock to keep it locked. this way the design is on both sides of the ak grip which i think would make it more asthetically pleasing from both sides

Thanks. I will try to take more pics of it outside though there isn't enough light left today. I'll try to take some tomorrow.

Wow, I am surprised people think the hinge side is the pretty side. I thought the opposite side was going to be the pretty side for you guys. However, I think either side is nice. I did take a look at the hinge and the pin is sealed on both sides.

I am thinking about what you said and this would make it theoretically more secure. I will have to find a way to mill out the pin without damaging the hinge, but it shouldn't be too difficult. If I place foaming on the inside of the upper handguard this would pressurize it and it should be able to lock by simply attaching the pin. However, if I make the change I cannot go back. If you all think this would be better then I will start the engineering.

This is amazing. Some of the best custom mag work I've seen. I'm really impressed by the frame. Can you still use hybrid mode?

Nope I cannot use Hybrid mode. The Emag/Xmags will forever hold that title.
The gas thru hosing does not allow me to use use a vertical sear stem.

Yeah. I think I actually hurt the shocker more than help it. This CCM frame was headed for some agg kids shocker, but was captured by the AO pirates and know sails with the AGD flag.

still just a chunk of aluminum no matter who made it

the more I look at it the more I like it. My only deadset change would be to anno that exposed portion of that emag noid(its alum right?)....but it is barely visible anyway. Once again Eddie, that is one sexy emag.

I want it. That is one of the most awesome setups i've seen.

very well thought out n built

only one gripe from me tho, wish the rail were different. since you're using the ccm frame, the tail looks weird with the rail u have on. something along the lines of a classic rail or somethin
