Pardon my ignorance, but what does milsim (i think thats right) and IMO stand for? thanks for the help

milsim short for military simulation: AKA: Kiddies with their paintball guns done-up like ar-15's that call paint "bullets" and eliminations "Kills" - they like to pretend they're fighting for their country and get pissed when you play paintball like a GAME as its supposed to.

milsim = Military Simulation or to look Military in nature...

and btw, IMO(first use :) ) Milsim is retarded, go play Call of Duty 87 or w.e is out, lol. But i feel that paintball is paintball, i like it slower in the woods, and i sometimes like the faster pace of airball/speedball. Luckly my home field has fields that are in the woods, but on a small enough scale that things can be fast paced without a problem, but at the same time are big enough to get some kind or strategy going. Maybe im just spoiled... anyways thanks again fr the help

No really, you would be surprised how much that game(and others) can help with communication and quick identification skills that are very useful in paintball. Plus its a fun game once the little screaming kids are muted.

Im not ripping on COD or any other video game(r)s. Im just talking about the people who play video games 90% of thier free time, the ones who are bleech white cuz the would hate to spend an hour ouside, doing w.e. The ones who talk it not walk it. I understand that they build qualities/characterisitics that can be very helpful in paintball as well as real life. Know what i mean?

ive played about 15 or so scenarios over the years, mostly BlackCat games (www.blackcatpaintball.com) and love seeing the many differant guns. This is about the only time i see more then just my automag at the field, But w/e a doubt i know the kinda people you are talking about lol, they are great. But i still feel that a Mag is the most well rounded gun for all kinds of play.
