    Euro Xmag Thread V.1

Welcome to the Euro Xmag Thread V.1 Here you will find information on the European style Xmags that AGDE created back in 2001-2002. This is a thread for owners and fans to come together to learn about the history of the Euro Xmag. This is only a portion of my research so far. Within this post I will update with more pictures and features so check back often!!

    Euro Xmag:

Alias: STD. Euro, Non-CNC Xmag, Emag Extreme

    Body Styles:Gun Styles:
STD Grip Frame: The Earliest versions came with the Standard Emag Frame with the Hump.
ULE Grip Frame: One of the future upgrades to the Euro Xmag was the ULE Grip Frame.

    Valve Styles:
Originally came with Stainless Emag Valves
Some also came with the X-valve. No numbers are yet known.

    Barrel:
    12in PMI Perfect Bore Barrel

    Custom Features:
    A-Tach-One
    UThomas

The Eye Harness was different as well.

    History:

The Euro Xmag was created and sold by AGDE. They were sold as upgradekits to regular automags. The Euro Body is the uncut version of the Xmag. On a side note, Shocktech also used the Body to design the SFL Emag. Back in 2002 when they were originally release there was an issue with US Customers reaching out to AGDE for Xtremes. AGD released an offer statement saying that they would not work on any European Xmag, but they would volunteer to be the 3rd party to send your marker to AGDE.
The total number of bodies/guns are not known, but without counting the SFLs/Xmags that were created from them a rough estimate would be 100-125 respectively.

If you have any information or want to showcase your own Euro XMag feel free to post!!

Corrected. M.Don sold me this STD in june 2006 i think. At the same time he sold a olive green one to Flyingpoontang, and M.Don also sold a blue one that currently is in the U.K. At the time he had all 3 guns for sale.

          Pics:

This one comes with a Emag valve and there's something with the ace wiring. Not sure if it is done by AGDE, but there's an extra wire and the on/off switch does not work. (therefore i'm using a battery saver pin)

Fixel: Thanks for the info. Just added some of your info.
Loguzzzzzz: Added you as well. That gun was actually the gun I based off of my Euro Xmag project. I really like the way the fade/smear came out. Hopefully Gruntbull can pull it off

The work that went into that Custom gun for Bob is still probably the most work that's gone into a custom, one off, CNC milled paintball gun ever.

I need to try and find all the pictures that tell the full story.

That "face" in the side started out as a plaque about 8" across that I digitally scanned then scaled down to fit, as well as "enhancing" some of the detail so it would show when it was machined out.

I even had to have the Maple Leaf converted to a vector image and then adjust it so I could machine it out for that "Ace of Maple Leafs" battery pack.

That's also one of my custom grip frames (my original was SS001) that I ended up never getting one of because I left mine with Sosta and he built it into a gun for himself. lmao.

                Quite a project.

That doesnt sound at all like Sosta

By the way Bunny, in that youtube link, the mod in the warp that allows you to run the warp off the Xmag battery was made by a guy called Neil Gaffen at his company over here called All Phases Electrical. I don't think he even plays anymore, but the mod was so sweet. I remember testing a prototype and thinking it was just the perfect mod.

Yea - hopefully the youtube clip was helpful for you guys. I picked this up from a guy in the UK along with the X-power module. Only thing I have changed is swapping in a 1000 mAh battery for the dead 650 mAh stock one:

I sold both of the "Jolly Green Giants" (the dust lime green smudge faded ones) to the states. Will look up who the other guy was

Who was it that had his Red to Silver (Clear?) Euro milled with a custom design? It was gorgeous and I've seen it around AO a few times but I can't place a name to the owner.
