The case of the dissapearing Automags...

Right, so that feisty Tac-One is the only gun available on the AGD online store at the moment. After the recent disappearance of the Pro-Classic and Minimag, the sudden lack of ULE Customs is making me nervous.

AGD still doing alright? We ARE going to see the ULEs back in stock? Kinda worried with the economy in the shape it is. I do all I can to promote 'mags, and more than that the spirit of sportsmanship and innovation which Tom Kaye brought to the game. I would hate to see AGD go under.

Also noticed that Specops removed Tac-Ones from their online store. I've never exactly been one of those crazy milsim "Brigadiers," but I always felt that the presence of an AGD marker on their site was a helpful gateway to "Automag Occultism." This recent turn of events did not bode well...

I suppose the spirit of the Untermags must live on regardless, but I still hope AGD is okay. Anyone know what's up?

A new thread like this pops up every month. They restock their inventory, don't worry.

Hah, I guess that's not surprising.

I check up with the AGD site on a fairly regular basis, and I can't ever recall seeing the ULE out of stock. Was kind of a moment.

Still, we ever going to see the Minimag or Pro-Classic back?

Not to be among the "sky is falling" crowd, but since we get no word at all from the top, it really is one of those wonder if this is the time kind of things. Not only do we see things going in and out of stock, but apparently emails and phone calls go unanswered as well.

I will not worry though, until someone like Tuna, or one of the other high profile dealers comes out and asks a question like this, then I guess it is ok.

AGD is being smart, the classics are a tad heavey for todays baller. Thier market is scenario ballers, the tac is an amazing conbination. If they pushed them like tippman pushes thier crap you'd see agd everywhere.

Yeah i too was a bit dissapointed when i went to order a ULE Automag Classic Pro and it was not their no more.

Instead i just ordered a buch of spre parts and converted my OLD classic valved mag to a ULE body. Ordered the stuff and a week later it was at my door no complaints (Well except for the complaints i have with getting screwed by customs but thats not AGDs fault).

Thing is, it shouldn't happen. While I like AGD, and TK being a god in the industry, I don't consider AGD a powerful force in the industry anymore. They will most likely be here forever as the great niche company they've become.

Let's hope so. At the right price, I think they could still sell them. I hate to see the Classic Automag go.

If they go down i will be really bummed, i mean losing my favorite field and my favorite company? Ugh...

Regardless, i doubt their end is even close to being near.

Look at the glass as half full instead of being half empty -

AGD is SELLING stuff, hence they are out of stock on items.

I bet there arent many paintball companies that can say that right now.

When I ordered my RT ULE a couple months back it was listed in stock but they gave me a call saying it would be about 10 days before they could put it together because of stock issues.

Now it just looks they are updating their website when stock issues arise rather than people ordering up and having to wait.

Other companies aren't out of stock because they make more than enough stuff for demand, like AGD did in the 90's when they were among the elite .

True, but since they dont sell that many why make 10,000 of something like they used to? Also, many of these places make more than they sell. There are still plenty of NIB markers that are a few years old floating around on store shelves.
