Hey Tom, Look what i found in Iraq

Well i went to turn in some weapons to get fixed today, and a soldier walked past me with something funny looking i wasnt used to seeing.. so i walked in behind him to get a closer look, and low and behold it was what i suspected it was... an FN 303, i was really surprised to see it over here. i asked the guy about it, and he had no clue about it, exept he pulled the trigger and it fired, so i gave him alittle insight about it. this is the only pic i could get tho, hopefuly later i can get some better ones. they ended up turning that one in, and getting a brand new in the box one, must be nice

EDIT- hmm, well my haji internet is to slow to post pix, ill try later today to post them.

Hey thats great!! See if you can get some pics and a story or two about how they are using them in action. We never hear a thing about who is using them or what they are doing. Any info appreciated.

      Thanks!

well, i got some better pix today and i talked to the civilians that work at the place that it was turned into. it was tagged, so its broken beyond repair, sad day it had what looked like a 7 or 9 oz co2 tank with some kind of reg on it with a gauge. i asked them what they are usually used for and they said they use them mainly in the prisons here for riot and crowd control. Also, he said that they use them in the streets on patrol for crowd and riot control, and it the most feared weapon on the streets, even more feared than the .50 cal. mostly Military Police and Infantry use them for that reason. this one looks ok, its prolly been abused tho, grunts cant take care of anything. but he did hand them a BNIB one yesterday which was pretty sweet. the pix will be posted shortly, still going slow.

EDIT- now that i look at it, maby the tank was a small N2 tank, didnt really look at it to much. they had it setup to screw directly into the inlet on the side of the weapon.

                  That is so cool.

I never realized it until my friend just told me, but the assault rifle in Halo looks a lot like the FN.

AGD designed the valve system, its a riot control gun used by law enforcement and the military, it shoots special projectiles with "fins" check out manikes new basement videos, he shows the fn303 that he has and shows the ammo he made himself

Not a big fan of how the grips are designed... they look uncomfortable IMO.
Reminds me of my old Crosman Nightstalker...

So that's why on the AGD Virtual Museum it says "... the company branched out and took on the challenge of developing non-lethal weapons for the armed forces."

I know the Police use modified A-5s and pepper-balls, but knowing Tom, the man who poineered my marker of choice, made something the US army uses; that's just cool.
