And how did this become a thread worrying about AGD going out of business? I can assure you there is no danger of them being bought out, they are still selling, AGD is like that one guy in the action movie who just won't die and keeps producing movies, and i like that.

And also, Zupan or whoever is the president right now is pretty much just selling what they have currently available, i'm pretty sure he has no interest in trying to bring the company back into the mainstream. Tom has said that if the market becomes more stable he MIGHT come back and start producing more markers, and that's the most hope we have, but that's not much because i honestly think he's not coming back to the paintball market, and i don't blame him Seriously, i'm not trying to rain on anyone's parade, but i'm being realistic, AGD is where it's at and it's going to stay there for a long time. If in 3-4 years when i'm out of college and i'm making decent money Tom decides to come back i'll be thrilled and i'll buy whatever he puts out there, but like i said, i'm not going to hold my breath over it.

That had a rather low explanatory value

        .
But the huge battery ruins the whole gun. I like the way homemade Emags looked, ala Devil Mag.

Hi Tom! It's been a long time. It would be great to have you out in California for an AO meet.

Again, it's great to see a lot of regulars still in here. I've had the privilege of meeting a lot of you guys and look forward to meeting more. It appears that the AO SoCal meet plans are already underway so let's see who can make it.

See in the X-mag's case i happen to think that the battery pack helps the look of it, mainly because it was designed to flow with it, if it didn't have the huge battery pack it wouldn't be an X-mag and it wouldn't have the same look, so personally i think that's one of the features that makes it look so good to people like me and the guy on my floor.

But it's a feature that will keep it out of most tournament players.

Oh well if they came back into the market i'm certain they would produce a new electronic marker that wouldn't require that battery pack, i was just saying that it's one of the things that helps the look of the X-mag in my opinion.

I agree, it does give the X a unique look.

Yeah, but not everyone is crazy about it, and given the past markers my friend has owned that he told me about i was surprised when he told me that's the one gun he'd pay over a grand for.
