Well I'd say that if your not in a hurry to get a cocker, just sit and wait and watch the forums. I myself bought an 03 Prostock for $50 shipped. It was stock, but much better then anything you could get from Psychoballistics IMO. There are deals to be had on the forums if your not in a rush to get anything.

Oh, that one you have pictured in indeed an '03 Prostock, the one I bought and another I currently own have that same milling on the body as the one pictured.

As for the shop repairing burst disks and oiling fill nipples, I don't think I'd want to take anything I owned there for work of any type. On the other hand, if they are willing to let the cockers they have go for dirt cheap, I'd probably grab them and save them from a fate worse then death. I'd just never take them back there afterwards.

Well that's the thing. I would save the 'cockers from, as you put it, "a fate worse than death", but they'd need an overhaul (or I'd just give them one) and the cost you might save getting them cheap would amplify in spare parts and hassle.

trevorjk, I am from Chicago. Why?

As for the Ligtning, it showed up today. It really is not that bad. When I aired it up the timing was wicked wierd but the ram, lpr, and 3 way worked fine. I opened them up and lubed the o-rings up anyways. A little timing and it was shooting rather reliably.

Only thing is that the ram can't screw in all the way or the barbs don't face correctly and if yu bump it it leaks, but a tough o-ring as a spacer took care of that.

I will say that the feedneck sucks and it isn't threaded, it has a set screw so I guess I could use any feedneck that fits in the hole but I don't think that is the best as far as design goes

The bolt looks good, if anything I might steal it for another 'cocker if I ever turn this one into a pump.

Only thing really wrong with it is that the valve leaks down the barrel. Not a lot but it is audible when you hold it. I shot a lot of oil into it and it didn't stop so I need to go in there and see what's up but the lack of a valve tool is holding me up...

The one I pictured was actually in an ebay auction and just listed as an e-cocker so I posted here to find out about it before I bidded. I maxed at $200 and it sold for $202
Sucks because I was considering going higher just in case...
I currently am watching a few WGPs on ebay that are real cheap with no reserve but they have like 3-5 days left so they will probaby shoot up. I'll have to wait and see.

You never know what the $202 bidder was willing to go to.
