Would be much cooler if it had some spring action and all you had to do was cock it one way and let a spring return the bolt forward.

I think that would be fun as heck. Its like an old western movie type handgun. Every shot has to be recocked.

I had a similar idea but the pump would work like the cocking action of a H&K P7 pistol. Basically you squeeze the pistol grip (on the front) to cock it.

CCMachinist (of CCM) made this prototype for LK-13 who only has trouble pumping with one of his hand/arms.

It looks like tubes because it is tubes. The upper tube just bolts onto the lower tube. You will be able to change your gun to however you want with an assortment of upper tubes/bolts. We are all very excited for this to come out (~first quarter of 2009).

Pretty nifty. If it's a closed bolt design, this could even be modified to have a "bolt action" mechanism for those sniper purists.
