we bought some for the field and are very happy with them
the regs seem great and i was told they are essentialy the same thing as the old PMI regs which were so well built and reliable.

I met Ray (of ninja) at Wayne's World grand finale. Really nice guy. I had just purchased an ANS Blackout reg a month or two before and I told him that this design looks VERY familiar.
He let me know that ninja is the OEM that sells to ANS. Ninja owns the patents, and that the regs are made in the USA (except for the chinese gauge).
I haven't had a chance to use my reg on my mag yet, but the shims (3 of them total) to go from 450 to 650 to 850 psi are very, very thin (like lvl 10 shim thin). As long as the spring isn't to full compressed length, I don't see why another shim wouldn't boost the pressure.Comment

A little update:
The max output possible without blowing the reg is 950 psi.
It is interesting though that many of the tech at ninja are mag fans, and one of AGD old master tech is working at Ninja right now. I was calling them about adding shim to my reg and got all that information so just maybe an update for those interested in this reg.Comment

I've heard some crazy things about this company. I've heard that they either make or design the regulators for dang near every company out there. I don't know wether this is true or not though just passing on what I've heared. it makes sense though, I mean some of those regulators look oddly similar to DXS regulators...Comment
