    rusty body

I automag p/f body got rusty somehow. What cleaner do you use to de-rust a automag body ans not harm it?

That's hard to believe. The AutomaG body is all stainless and would need to be in an extreme environment to begin to rust at all. Los Gatos isn't extreme enough!

Are you sure it isn't old paint, or perhaps polishing compound?

You're thinking about chrome-plated steel. When you scratch off the chrome you have bare steel and it can rust where the plating was removed. Stainless steel is an alloy of steel. There's no coatings involved with stainless steel so scratching it doesn't do a thing when it comes to rust.

Like Army said, it's probably not going to rust easily. Do you store it in brine or something? But if it actually is rust, try a light brushing with steel wool or sandpaper

Chrome adds around 4 bps to any gun.

that happened to mine, i scrubbed it with a toothbrush for a VERY long time to get the "rust" to go away
