    custom rail

Alrigh im almost don with the rail ive been working on. I cut it out of an am/mm rail using only a hack saw and a file . Its in a really rough stage right now and still needs to be thoroughly sanded and anoed. Lemme know what you guys think! sorry bout the bad pics but its night time here so i cant go outside and take good pics.

i modeled the lines after a sports car

You get a much better idea of what it looks like when you have it on the gun.

Looks pretty darn good. Perhaps in the future you should consider buying a dremel

          Keep it up!

Looks good! I especially like how you rounded off the front end. I think I've only seen one or two other rails rounded off like that. I kind of hate how most rails just end abruptly with a squared off edge while the back end usually has some sort of curves or nice milling.

oh nice, Ive made 2 really nice classic rails so far just using files and a boat load of elbow grease, I know how long it takes, esspecially the extent you have taken off

trust me yours will look awesome after it gets anno'd (assuming you sand it down really smooth so that the anno'er can polish it up real nice)
