    New toy...

Been wanting one of these for a while. Dont think I could have found a cleaner example. I probably shouldn't have, but when I saw it I knew there was no sense in resisting. I had already missed a decent dust black one before but in hind sight I'm glad I was able to grab a gloss one instead.

Shot these pretty quick on my couch, there's a few more angles I want to get so I'll come back with more but here's a few for now...

Very nice man I too have fallen for a G7 fly flu and might have one for trade for my A1. Did you pick that one up on AOG? I think I might have seen it and I was looking at it cept it had the 90* frame. Very clean find none the less congrats

Never a fan of the way 90s look but very very hot.

Is that a Prophecy sitting up top? What are your thoughts on it if it is.

Love it. I ditched my GAT recently and hope to pick up a g7 fly sometime this year. You really cant beat them.

Thanks guys! Yea I had a G7 Fly Arsenal edition with a 45 but it didn't have the find of character I was after. Eh plus it was an Arsenal edition which aren't really all that good lookin. So I flipped it. I then got a Gat with a 45 and love it. Gloss black as well but its not as clean as this 90 framed beast but still compliments the new beat nicely.

Yup I did snag off AOG. Dude's pics weren't able to show how clean it was but it was described as lnib. A description I usually don't trust but after asking him to describe any blems on it and getting the right response back I went for it. Got a decent deal in the end. Def paid a premium for its condition and the fact that everything was included that would come out of the factory, but I was willing to do so.

Gonna rip some paint through it later today. Need to get that Ninja tank filled I switched it down to a LP setup but haven't gauged the output yet. Those tanks are sick, so easy to change the output (easier than a i-reg). The prophecy is a decent running hopper. I posted a mini review comparison on PBL in response to a thread. Post #18, I cover both.

Agreed it is one of the hottest milling schemes ever. Maybe I'll make a video later...

Been an Angel owner for years. Great markers, and that one is a looker.

The single best upgrade that I could recommend is to Virtue that thing. You will not get your money back out of doing it, but if you plan on keeping and using it you will not regret doing so.

I kinda like the screen but then again all I run is semi and I won't be adjusting stuff much. I don't like the rechargeable battery all that much but if I get the wall unit charger then I could live with it. I just don't like the fact that if you run out of juice mid day you'll have to stop playing with that gun (and hopefully use your backup if you've got one in tow). Fortuneatly I've got backups for my backups backup

I'm not gonna touch her right away but maybe I'll snag one eventually. I do like the idea of having a microswitch, though something tells me I'd enjoy the microswitch feel in my A4 Fly more so than my G7 Fly. The A4 trigger return is pretty stiff and I can't seem to adjust it for the better. I've got it as good as I can get it in stock form. I kinda want to get a different shaped trigger for it maybe I do both same time. Is there a lower cost alternative to the Virtue that you'd recommend? The Lucky board is scheeap... any good?

I forgot to mention, the bummer thing about the prophecy is that its too short for the stock feedneck. It looks great on there but I'm gonna need to replace that feedneck if I wanna run anything other than my vlocitys. I don't like alot of the choices for aftermarket feeds, any recomendations?

There is the Lucky board. It uses Dye chips. Understand that sometimes it will give trouble with the ribbon eyes, might even have to change to the Dye eyes for it.

That's not worth it then if you've gotta mod the eyes (or replace them)... FMA has a chip to go with it for pretty cheap. I think the whole setup is about $75. Virtues are over $120 iirc. Of all brands I think I found a decent feedneck solution. Some guy on MCB is selling XSV brand neednecks for like ten bucks. They look decent and don't have any logos on them from what I can tell. Might as well for $10. At that price I'd get two and throw one on my Gat as well. I wish sub-zeros would fit on Angels or I'd use one of them. I like the stock feedneck but I want to be able to use my best loaders on there and so I've gotta swap around. My Gat has an aftermarket on it now so I might borrow that so I can run her in this weekend. Need a strap wrench b4 I proceed there

I actually purchased a couple of those XSV feednecks... I have to say they are pretty nice, and they have no markings/engraving anywhere... they would complement you marker very well (and you can't really beat $10 for a clamping feedneck)!

                            Nice pick up Thoto!

I would start with the JDS LPR before I went with the board. The G7's are nice, but getting a tad hard to find. There are a few more Fly's out there than traditionals. Nice reliable marker either way.
