What is this?

Long story short, bought a large box of AGD goodness (check the bst forum this week) from a guy who used to own a store around here years ago. He didn't know anything about mags and this was part of the package. Any idea what it is?

Looks like a Viewloader board.

Its a Revvy Board. Has nothing to do with mags.

wow. quick on the draw. Any idea if it's a stock board or... there was a 12v revvy in the package. Is there a way to figure out if there's something other than a stock one in there?

It's not a x-board. It would be written between the battery connections.
