Will the RT Rail Assembly fit a ULE body, Intellifram and Emax Valve? I like the looks of the RT Rail but I'm afraid I'll have to go with the RT Pro Rail Assembly.

should work, but i'm pretty sure you'll have to mill out that little channel in the back where the locking pin holds the valve assembly to the body rail.Originally posted by Nick28Will the RT Rail Assembly fit a ULE body, Intellifram and Emax Valve? The frame will work if you drill the rear hole bigger, the valve will not work, the body will work but you wouldn't get a valve to fit it...
The valve would fit if you milled the z-lock groove and filed in the field strip screw hole and re-drilled it to spec, but it would be very hard to pull off... If you managed to do that you would not need to drill the frame hole bigger and you would be able to use a ULE body like normal.
You are talking about the original RT rail right? It is identical to the RTPro rail just the Pro rail doesn't have the gas-thru ports and is to the specs you want...

if all you want are the three stainless set screws in the back end, you can just use the RT Pro rail and send it off to someone to have it milled out and tapped for the appropriate size and thread.

I beg to differ with some.
It will work. Its not even that difficult. I have a old classic rt rail with a minimag body & emag valve. works fine.
I had to dremel the rail for the body to fit. You shouldnt since ule bodies already have the round boss on the bottom.
In my case I ground the zlock pin off the valve. It would be better/safer to mill a zlock groove.
Now the tricky part. You will need to make a spacer that centers the smaller strip screw in the large hole. I used a old rt gripframe as well so all I did was wrap the screw in electrical tape until it was the right size. NO filling NO drilling.Originally posted by dano_____I keep forgetting to not feed my mags after midnight so they seem to multiply regularly.

5 minutes looking in the bins with the plastic washers and standoffs at ACE Hardware will fix thatOriginally posted by cougar20thNow the tricky part. You will need to make a spacer that centers the smaller strip screw in the large hole.

In my experience, a ULE or standard RT Pro body will interfere with the sear. I have tried this with two different RT rails and multiple bodies, including a ULE. I had an RT Pro to determine what the diffence is, and found the trigger frame holes to be placed .035' farther back on the RT rail. This might not be enough on some, but the lot of components I tryed this with would no work correctly. Even if the body doesn't interfere with the sear, I would like to see if the bolt is completely clearing the feedtube like AGD designed it to operate.Be Safe!
