    To Emag or Pneu'd

I have my Emag and I only ever shoot it on semi. Sure I've played around with the other modes but during games only semi. The weight of the Emag would bother me also. I'm not lazy or out of shape it's just when you grab another marker then you realize what you're hauling around. The master plan is to sell the Emag lowers(haven't had any luck if you're interested) and have cyberave68 turn my mag into a little beast. Has anyone gone this route, advice suggestions? Push come to shove I could always keep my Emag lowers but that's a lot of money just collecting dust.

I was just thinking I'm only a valve/bolt and body away from having two complete markers. Oh decisions decisions...

just lighten the load on the emag setup. run a lighter battery setup and run your hopper/warp off of your emag battery instead of the extra pack of batteries in the hopper/warp.

other thing would be get ule milling done to your Emag setup if it doesnt already.

with those modifications, your emag would be pretty darn light as you desire.

I have an xmag (emag) and a pneumag. Honestly they do the same thing. And I can't shoot either faster then the other. My fingers are capped at 14 bps.

So if weight is an issue then you already have your answer. Go pneu'd. There are some very light setups with the speed and trigger pull of an electro.

I plan on ep'ing my old pneu. I have an empire revolver kit with lots of porting. It works great on my RT setup, but one ball collision in or near the barrel just totals the whole thing on accuracy. I would get a different barrel, but I have never been real clean with the pneu anyway. My son could shoot it almost all day without a break, but I get in a hurry and trip up eventually. The other problem is I will shoot left handed at times, and my left hand is worse on walking a pneu.

Ha ha, that's the great/bad thing about mags! I go to upgrade maybe a body, then I put an ego frame on it, and I have another body and an extra rail, so I'm always one or two pieces away from having a complete gun! I just think, "Why not, it'll make a great loaner or project gun."

As far as emag vs pneumag, I decided to get one of each, but since I love warpfeeds I think the emag is my favorite. With an emag, you don't need to mess around with vibration settings on the warpfeed, it can be linked to the gun's board.

If you are not looking to put a warpfeed on the gun, I'd say go with a pneumag. If you can get your hands on one, go for a g-force mag. I tried jademonkey07's pneumag when he still had it and I just had to have one (mine is a chimera framed, it's nice but its no g-force ).

And I was recently in the market for some lowers...but I've got some on the way now, so I can't buy yours. Good luck with your sale!

Having paid cyberave to do the full pneu on my airwalk I have got to say it was the best $$$ I could have ever put into my marker. I'd give you a vid but it's all out being polished by LK-13 at this moment in time. I've played with a bunch of pneu'ed mags and after playing on mine all last season the difference was huge. I'm not saying that most pneu's suck, rather that cyberave's install was fantastic. It's all about getting the proper angles on all the various leverage points... that and I didn't want to be the one to screw up my new airwalk v2.

Send him the parts and the $$$ and you won't regret it... you'll probably even make a little $$$ after selling the lowers.

P.S. It is totally wild to get into a high ROF firefight with a bunch of guys running current electros and then walk up next to them off field while they are carefully cleaning their markers... and dump half a water bottle on your mag while they stare. It's my favorite part of the day (besides the shooting part )
