and yes, i said a pump A-5... what now... never seen one of those before i bet

Alright, I know this is off topic... but it's time for some pic's on this. Seriously... I've never even contemplated this scenario... and um... why? Interesting though.

I don't know what it is about it, but emags in hybrid are just way too damned fun. I've shot many an electro supergun, and for some reason ripping strings on a mag is just more fun.

... wait, if you pump an A-5 you are probably stressing the paint and cyclone you use as it will spin when you shoot, but only feed when you pump...

Well to start off, i have looked for pictures and the only pictures i had were before the conversion.

And i appologize for hijacking this thread but i want to explain the A-5 pump.

Basically what i did was remove the manual advance rod and mod it to attach to a pump handle. Then i took off the hose and put a plug in the spot of the cyclone gas feed so that it fed only when pumped. (it still shot semi but would only feed via pump)

so i had to fix that problem too... what i then did was take the cocking arm and make shift an attachment (welded to the arm) so that it would attach to the handle. I sawed off the front lip of the marker and took an attachment my buddy made and bolted it to where the normal frontgrip would be and used this to mount the pump handle.

So now i had a pump rod attached to the cocking rod on the gun, a pump rod attached to the cyclone, and a pump handle attached under the gun. What i then did was bought a valve pin replacement part from someone on UMS that made them for pump A-5's (very limited run of them) and used that so that the gun wouldnt reset after every shot from the blowback.

So in essence i would pump it back, it would cock... then when the pump handle came forward it would load 1 ball. Then i could shoot and do it again and again and again.

it was fun while it lasted but i only had it for about a month before i discovered the beauty of the Super RT mod. and sorry about the long read but i figure anyone interested enough would love to have details so i provided them

            Thats sounds... really clever.

Seems like the same method they use to pump 98s, I was just confused about the cyclone.

I'd love to see a pic, if you don't want to hijack the thread you can pm me.
