    Big Red Chrono!

Did that get your attention? More than likely not. Anyway, I have one and I'm trying to find out the max FPS that it can read out.

Does anyone know? The highest I've been able to get is 460 FPS...

Do any of you know the actual limit that it can read? It should be 999 but I can't get it over 460.

I've looked online but can't seem to find anything.

    Thanx in advance,

I don't know, I cannot find the paperwork on mine.

I have a radar chrono, which is specific to paintball/archery, and another that works off light and is sold as a ballistics chronograph. The ballistics one is the only that really has any reason to measure so high.

ballistics chrono's (light based) should be able to measure at least 4000 FPS... From what I am reading here most seem to be able to measure between 30 FPS and 7000 FPS... but those are the normal $100 optical units

The radar handheld units tend to measure from 150fps to 450fps. I would imagine your using a radar based unit. either like this or the one below it.

It works great for me, but I never tried to get it over 300 or so. It says that it can.
